Hi Rebecca, My husband and I just got back from a 2 week trip to Italy which included 4 days in Florence. I had a chance encounter with Flippo also. He was like the "ambassador of Florence". He walked with us, told me about his life, asked us about ours....truthfully, he wasn't as interested in my husband as me. He escorted us to his friends jewelry store and gave me his business card with equal flair. He was one of the high points of my amazing trip to Italy. Your trip to Tuscany sounds amazing. Just thought it was interesting coincidence. ( BTW I found your blog by googling Flippo)
ReplyDeleteHi Teri, you are not the first person to share with me their encounters with Fillipo. Your description of him as the ambassador of Florence is apropos. He is a cool guy and very charming. I hope to look him up when I go to Florence again in the fall with my tour. It will be lots of fun, and there's still room if you'd care to join us 😉. Thanks for checking in!
